Psychological & Behavioral Services for Children, Adults & Families

Direct Behavior Therapy

Behavior services are often provided in an individual 1:1 format with Therapists working directly with the client, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) providing on-going supervision. Depending on the client and family’s needs, services are generally provided a few times per week and supervision by a BCBA during these 1:1 services a few times per month.

Services are provided as determined through an assessment process called a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA). During the FBA process a behavior plan is developed as are goals for services and additional recommendations. In order to maximize the results of behavior services for children and per best practices, parents and caregivers are encouraged to directly participate in behavior services for their children.
